Dog Elective

In conjunction with Monash University, a group of students have been participating in an elective based upon Animal Therapy.
The youth counsellors from Monash Link Community Health Service ran the 10 week elective in which the students learnt how to handle; care for and look after a couple of Therapy dogs.
The Unit was research based and students, who participated, enjoyed the visit and benefited greatly from it.
